Sessions are unlimited on every plan. What is metered is recorded time, measured from the moment recording actually starts to the moment it stops. Start a session, find nobody home, stop after ninety seconds — that is ninety seconds, not an hour.
Your monthly total is rounded to the nearest minute at the end of the month. We do not round each inspection up to an hour, because twenty short sessions is half an hour of recording and billing it as twenty hours would be indefensible.
Going over never stops anything. Not the session in progress, not the next one. There is a homeowner standing in their own driveway on the other end of that stream, and cutting it to collect $3 would be the worst thing this product could do. We warn your administrators at 75%, 90% and 100% of the allowance, let every inspection finish, and bill additional recorded time afterwards at $3 per hour.
